Courtney + Adam Downtown Nashville Engagement

99% of my sessions start out with couples warning me about how “awkward” they are, but honestly, by the end, we’re usually all laughing together and having the best time. Courtney and Adam’s lower broadway engagement session in downtown Nashville was no exception. I love shooting couple’s who are 100% comfortable being their genuine selves in front of the camera. These two giggled through the whole hour, and we even made a pit stop for pizza. Talk about a dream session, am I right? Can’t wait to shoot their big day at 14TENN next year!!

Miles + Lauren Wedding Preview

Last weekend we flew out to Kansas City to photograph these two on their big day. I had the honor of taking their engagement photos a little over a year ago here in Nashville, and now they live in Hawaii (ok guys, I’m only a little mad at you for not getting married in Hawaii).

Their wedding was unbelievably beautiful. it was classy, but modern, fun, but traditional. We loved getting to document their love. Miles teared up during the ceremony as Lauren walked down the aisle. Not even going to try to lie, I definitely teared up too. Emotional ceremonies get me every dang time.

Katherine + Matthew Engagement Session

Here’s a quick little snippet of Katherine and Matthew’s Germantown engagement session last weekend. I meeeannnnn are they the cutest or what!? I cannot freaking WAIT to photograph their big day next summer!

Kayla and Alan New York City Wedding Preview

This last weekend I had the incredible opportunity to fly to New York to photograph Alan and Kayla. These two are so classy and so elegant, and did such a beautiful job of having every detail of their day reflect just that.

We frolicked around Central Park. Everyone who we passed stopped to congratulate them. Kayla looked like a literal princess. After Central Park and some fancy hotel photos overlooking the city, they celebrated their reception on a private yacht that circled around the Statue of Liberty. Un-freakin-real.

Here is a preview of their celebration. I am so so so honored they chose me to document their day. I love photographing people in love, especially when it takes me all the way to New York! Congrats to you both!!

Jamie and Nick Wedding Day Preview

Yesterday I had the absolute honor of photographing an old friend marry the love of her life. I've known Jamie since we were awkward 12 year olds just trying to navigate the world of middle school when our biggest concerns were updating our aim profiles, convincing our parents to let us get a cell phone, and of course gushing over cute boys. I am so happy that she married a man yesterday so perfect for her, and far more perfect than I'm sure she could have imagined when we were young.

It is so clear that these two are best friends. Their love was so easy to photograph and their day was filled with so much joy. Congrats to you two, Jamie and Nick! Here's a quick preview of some shots from yesterday!

Grace and Jonny Nashville Engagement

These two. How freaking adorable are they!? These guys are the epitome of Nashville - stylish, fun and super musically gifted. I had such a blast wandering around downtown and capturing their love story. They even brought Jonny's vintage pick up truck to include in some shots, and I'm loving the country meets urban vibe they have going.

We even got to make our way out to Hewitt Garden Center near the ever-adorable Franklin, Tennessee to photograph some greenhouse lovin'. This is definitely one of my favorite engagement sessions to date, and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in November!
