As I sit here trying to write this, I’m feeling all kinds of overwhelmed about the fact that my website has an ENTIRE PAGE dedicated to my “about me” section. Who does that? Now I have to come up with all of this fancy stuff to say about myself and convince you that I’m super cool, or at least not as lame as I probably, actually am.

The truth is, I just love photography. I feel immeasurably blessed that I have the opportunities to freeze brief moments in time for you and your loved ones. And to think I get to call this a JOB!? Unreal.

When I’m not shooting weddings, I’m usually hanging out with my hubs and our two dog children, Oscar and Cooper. I’m including some pictures of them all on here, because A. They’re cute and B. If you choose to follow me on Instagram, you’ll probably see me post about them all the time, so you might as well know what they look like ;) My husband, Alex, is one of my second shooters (my favorite, actually, but I might be biased), so if you’ve hired me to document your big day, there’s a good chance you’ll see him around. He’s goofy like me and 6ft.6, which comes in handy on wedding days because he not only will make you laugh hysterically during couple’s portraits, but also allows me to keep my step stool in the car (here’s to lookin at you, tall brides and grooms!).

I love to be outside, but have an extremely irrational fear of snakes (you can see my dilemma here). Every time I take the Myers-Briggs test, I land somewhere between an INFJ and an ENFJ. I guess it just depends if I’m feeling introverted or extroverted that day. I refuse to go to the movie theater without getting popcorn (isn’t the popcorn the real reason we all go to the movies anyways?) and I type with way too many parenthesis if you haven’t noticed.

I would love to get to know you, too! Whether you’ve already booked, you’re still deciding, you have a question for me, or you’ve hired someone else to document your day (I’m not crying, you’re crying), feel free to get in touch!
