I knew the second I walked into our initial meeting that these two were going to throw an epic party. Andi and Cody are fun, detail oriented, and were able to translate their dreamy wedding vision into every aspect of their day. The Bell Tower in Nashville, Tennessee is an updated, industrial, high-ceiling event space that exists in an old church building. They’ve remodeled the old bell tower into a private whiskey tasting room, which opens up to the guests mid-reception. Their dusty blue, winter-chic theme was perfect for a sunny, chilly February day in the city.
My favorite part of their day was when Andi was able to reveal the secret she’d be keeping for Cody during the reception. Months before the wedding, she reached out to one of their favorite folk duo’s, Freddy and Francine to see if they’d be interested in performing a few songs for them on their wedding day, including their first dance song. They agreed, and Cody had no idea. The irony is, not long after Andi secretly reached out to Freddy and Francine, Cody tried to give her the same surprise. He inquired with them to see if they’d be interested in performing, but they’ played it cool and simply told him they were already booked (little did he know, they were already booked for his own wedding!) The duo started performing as the couple entered the reception for the first time, and the look on Cody’s face was priceless. They tried to surprise each other with the exact same thing on their wedding day, and if that doesn’t prove that these two are meant to be, then I don’t know what does.
They also hyphenated their two last names together (!!!), so now they’re both carrying each other’s last names, Fisher-Willians, and I am LOVING this trend.
